Job summary

Pomelo Care, the leading virtual medical practice for women and children, seeks a Temp Sourcer to fuel our growth. You will identify, engage, and activate passive talent across engineering and other priority roles in a fast-moving startup environment.

This 3-month contract offers fully remote work within the US, collaboration with recruiters, and hands-on use of Greenhouse or Ashby and LinkedIn Recruiter to build strong candidate pipelines. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $100,000.

Qualifications

As a Temp Sourcer at Pomelo Care, you will serve as a targeted talent discovery specialist who drives pipeline generation for our hiring needs. Thriving on proactive research and candidate engagement, you'll focus on identifying, attracting, and activating top-tier passive talent across high-priority orgs.

We are looking for a relentless talent scout who excels at deep research, crafting compelling outreach, and building talent pools to support fast-moving hiring initiatives in a dynamic startup environment. This role will be a 3 month term with the option to extend.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute creative, multi-channel sourcing strategies to build robust, top-of-funnel talent pipelines for high-priority and hard-to-fill roles.
• Proactively identify, engage, and screen passive talent using advanced Boolean search, professional networks, talent databases, and alternative search channels.
• Craft highly personalized, compelling messaging to drive strong response rates and effectively convert passive prospects into active candidates.
• Partner closely with recruiters to understand role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and seamlessly hand off qualified leads.
• Jump in to support the end-to-end recruitment process for ad-hoc roles.
• Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience while maintaining accurate, up-to-date documentation and data hygiene within our ATS.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of dedicated talent sourcing or recruiting experience with a strong track record of generating qualified candidate pipelines for competitive roles (ideally in engineering).
• Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can easily pivot as business needs evolve.
• Expertise in leveraging ATS platforms (Greenhouse or Ashby), LinkedIn Recruiter, and advanced sourcing tools/techniques to surface top-tier talent.
• Deeply resourceful, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a remote environment while keeping communication channels open with the broader team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advise and build fast trust with cross-functional leaders.

Compensation:

The expected base salary range offered for this role is $90,000-$100,000. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
