Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sound Technician, located in Norwalk, CT. The Sound Technician will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating sound equipment for live events. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with event organizers, managing audio levels during events, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring sound quality. The Sound Technician will also collaborate with the lighting team to provide integrated audio-visual solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Live Sound and Sound management
  • Experience with Microphones and managing audio equipment
  • Understanding of Lighting systems and integration with sound
  • Knowledge and passion for Music and audio production
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work on-site in Norwalk, CT
  • Previous experience in sound engineering or related field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in audio engineering
