Oak Park Elementary District 97 seeks an experienced Sound Operator for BRAVO musical theater at Brooks Middle School. This after-school contractor role programs and mixes 24-32 wireless lavalier mics, integrates tracks, and delivers high-quality sound for performances.

Rehearsals typically 3:30-6:30pm Monday-Friday, some Saturdays; tech week requires additional time. Collaboration with the Director and adherence to equity commitments are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience mixing 24-32 wireless microphones.
• Ability to troubleshoot on tech rehearsals and performances.
• Interpersonal skills for collaboration with cast and crew.

Responsabilidades

• Read the script and score to understand the needs for the show and each character.
• Meet with Director to discuss sound needs and production requirements.
• Design sound, program effects, and manage on-stage audio needs.
• Test mics, cables and headsets before first dress tech for any concerns.
• Oversee mics before each tech rehearsal and during shows; organize gear.
• Operate sound during tech rehearsals and all performances, and troubleshoot issues.
