Job description

Title: Audio Mixer

Location: Remote US

Duration: 4 months

Compensation: $50-70/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Job Description

As an Audio Mixer, you will be responsible for preparing music files for our choreographers and mixing coach voice-over files over music for final delivery in headset.

Responsibilities

1. Process and prepare licensed music/audio tracks for our level design pipeline.
2. Generate precise tempo track automation to sync with music tracks.
3. QC track tempo for final and in-progress game levels.
4. Mix and process weekly batches of approximately 120-150 minutes of final mixes with high quality and consistency.
5. Finalize mix levels in headset and submit for final review and QA notes.
6. Advise on workflow, technical setup, and best practices.
7. Help recalibrate our recording pipeline as we transition to a new studio.

Qualifications

• Preferred 5+ years of experience in music mixing, audio engineering, or video game audio engineering, senior role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Izotope RX.
• Proficiency in Logic Pro X and Reaper.
• Ability to deliver high-quality assets with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency with macOS and Windows 10.

Bonus Points

• 1+ years of VR pipeline experience.
• Experience mixing workout content.
• Knowledge of Airtable.
