Job summary

MacLean-Fogg Company is seeking a Production Supervisor, Sorting to oversee daily sorting operations across all shifts, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met. You will coordinate with sorting team members, manage schedules, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

You will drive process improvements, train staff, enforce 5S, and collaborate with Quality Control and Engineering to resolve issues and reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a manufacturing or sorting environment with 1-2 years in a lead role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing, bending and walking.
• Experience providing direction, training, and support to team members.
• Familiarity with 5S principles and safety/quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the sorting team to meet production goals.
• Provide direction, training, and support to sorting team members.
• Coach and train new and existing employees to improve performance.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards by performing inspections.
• Monitor output and efficiency; address defects or non-conformances.
• Collaborate with Quality Control and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Drive process improvements to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in sorting.
