Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is hiring a Quality Sorter for our Farmington Hills, Michigan manufacturing facility. You will inspect, sort, and package fastener products to meet customer specifications, quality standards, and daily production targets.

The role is on-site with a 1st shift (7 AM–3 PM) and pay ranging from $18 to $20 per hour based on experience. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to follow instructions and use basic data-entry tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
• Ability to identify problems and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and manually sort fastener products according to customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Identify and separate defective or nonconforming parts.
• Take basic measurements using gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools.
• Follow standardized work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
• Package and label products according to requirements.
• Accurately record inspection and production information.
• Communicate quality concerns and support corrective actions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
