Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is hiring a Sorting Machine Operator for our South Windsor, CT location. The role involves setting up and running high-speed presort equipment to prepare mail for USPS acceptance, while ensuring all customer requirements are met.

You will follow detailed work instructions, operate automated equipment, perform preventative maintenance, monitor quality, and complete necessary documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience within a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation.
• Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow in-depth work instructions and keep the machine running at the optimal pace for each job.
• Set up and operate high speed, automated computer-controlled equipment, including preventative maintenance and authorized repairs.
• Monitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job. Completes all required documentation relevant to every job.
• Follows all departmental and safety procedures.
• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
