Job summary

America's Thrift Stores in Rainbow City, AL is seeking a part-time Processing Team Member to help sort donated items and prep treasures for the sales floor.

You will work with a diverse team, stay organized, and support environmental goals by recycling suitable materials and reducing waste. Basic physical fitness and being at least 18 are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willing to sort donations and identify items for sale.
• Strong teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced thrift store environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated items and identify great finds.
• Prepare items for the sales floor.
• Load and unload carts safely.
• Assist with recycling efforts to reduce waste.

What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?

• Sort donated items and identify great finds
• Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill
• Get those great finds sales floor ready
• Load and unload carts to get merchandise out safely and efficiently

Whether we are hanging the perfect jeans (thrifting one pairof jeans saves the world 1,800 gallons of water ya know!) or separating out recyclable materials, we combine our passion for customers and community service.
