Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Sorter/Processor to perform a variety of functions in the sorting room or production area of a Production Store. You will sort donations, categorize items, and ensure quality control while maintaining a clean work area.

Responsibilities include moving and pricing merchandise, tagging, baling, and supporting the work therapy program with professional conduct and reliable work habits under supervision.

Qualifications

• Processing experience preferred.
• Have a working knowledge of clothing quality and price.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Can lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist as required with sorting room operation.
• Cross train in all sorting room functions under the guidance of the Sorting Room Supervisor.
• Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of sorting room area.
• Maintain a clean and clutter free work area.
• Responsible for baling as needed.
• Support the work therapy program by demonstrating professional conduct and work habits.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
