Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is hiring a Sorter/Processor to support the sorting room and production store operations. You will sort donations, categorize items, and prepare merchandise for sale, maintaining quality and efficiency to meet hourly quotas.

Responsibilities include hanging and tagging, pricing, balancing workloads, and supporting work therapy programs with a focus on safety and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Processing experience preferred.
• Have working knowledge of clothing quality and price.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Can lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sorting room operations.
• Cross-train in all sorting room functions.
• Assist in cleaning and general maintenance of sorting room area.
• Maintain a clean and clutter free work area.
• Responsible for baling as needed.
• Support work therapy program by modeling professional conduct and supervision.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
