DCG ONE is a leading print and mail production provider with a strong presence in Maryland. The Sorter Helper role supports the production floor, learning on specialized equipment and complying with USPS guidelines.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available after 120 days of employment, with shift differentials for off-shift hours. This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance and is based on second or third shift schedules on a production floor with potential for

Responsibilities

• Sort mail for a variety of USPS classifications.
• Operate strapping machine.
• Read and understand postal sorting documentation.
• Operate pallet jack to move mail.
• Assist Operator in feeding and running machine.
• Complete appropriate sorting documentation.

SHIFT: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM OR 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

The Sorter Helper sorts mail in a variety of classifications as it is processed on inkjet and inserting equipment. The position requires an understanding of USPS regulations and some experience operating machinery. This is a great position for anyone looking to learn new skills and join a quickly growing team.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or stand for long periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
