Job summary

DCG ONE, a leading print and mail production provider, is seeking a Sorter Helper in Upper Marlboro, MD. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 120 days and shift differentials for off-shift work.

You'll learn on experienced equipment and support the production team on the warehouse floor. The position requires USPS knowledge, familiarity with inkjet/ inserting equipment, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

SHIFT: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM OR 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

You'll work alongside experienced operators, learn specialized equipment, and become part of one of the leading print and communications companies.

In addition to competitive pay and applicable sign-on bonuses, employees on qualifying second- or third-shift schedules are eligible for shift differential premiums, which provide additional earnings for off-shift work.

The Sorter Helper sorts mail in a variety of classifications as it is processed on inkjet and inserting equipment. The position requires an understanding of USPS regulations and some experience operating machinery. This is a great position for anyone looking to learn new skills and join a quickly growing team.

Note: This position requires the ability to complete and pass a Public Trust Security Clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sort mail for a variety of USPS classifications.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or stand for long periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position works on the production floor in an industrial warehouse setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
