Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations in Stamford, CT is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Sorter to help maintain appearance and environmental compliance at our facility. You will sort materials on the picking line and assist with cleaning and maintenance of the recycling building, wearing PPE as required for safety.

You will retrieve litter, sweep breakrooms and maintenance areas, and contribute to a positive work environment with coworkers and management.

Qualifications

• Retrieve waste litter and place them in designated container.
• Perform sweeping and cleaning of breakrooms and maintenance shop areas.
• Maintain positive work environment by communicating effectively with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

Job description

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Sorter who is confident and enthusiastic individual and can maintain the appearance and environmental compliance at the Facility. The Sorter will be employed in the MRF sorting materials on the picking line as well as cleaning and maintenance of the recycling building. This position will require high visibility to traffic and must wear PPE to keep eye to eye contact with other employees.
