Job summary

Nelson Connects in California is seeking a Sort Machine Operator to run a sort machine in a fast-paced warehouse, aiming to process at least 10,000 tier sheets per 8-hour shift while upholding quality. You will complete safety checklists, production logs, and quality logs on time, follow CTPS and SQF food safety requirements, and build strong working relationships with customers and teammates.

Lift up to 55 pounds and stay safety-focused.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating production equipment or sort machines preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and quality standards.
• Familiarity with 5S Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sort machine in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Sort and process a minimum of 10,000 tier sheets during an 8-hour shift while maintaining quality.
• Complete safety, production, and quality logs accurately and on time.
• Follow CTPS quality standards and SQF food safety requirements.
• Lift and move materials up to 55 pounds consistently throughout the workday.
• Keep production in sync with customer demand while maintaining productivity and quality.
