This position works to promote social justice within the division and the larger academic institution.

Western is searching for a Program Chair/Director to lead its new Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. During the initial program development phase, the successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining program accreditation, implementing state-align curriculum, and developing clinical partnerships for student training. Once the program has launched, Fall of 2028, responsibilities will include instruction of students (in-person) in the classroom and laboratory settings; overseeing the structure and daily operation of the program; organization, administration, periodic review and program evaluation; monitoring ongoing development and effectiveness of program curricula; and ensuring the effectiveness of all clinical affiliates is maintained.
