Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current registration/certification from a nationally recognized sonography credentialing agency.
• BLS or ACLS certification may be required
• Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers lectures and supervises lab sessions.
• Instructs students during clinical, lab and didactic sessions and assesses progress.
• Maintains accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Collaborates with program leadership to review and revise course materials.
• Acts as a positive role model and communicates concerns to the supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with program policies and guidelines.
• Pursues ongoing professional development to stay current in the field.
