Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Seattle seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging per physician orders, while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will prepare equipment, perform procedures, develop films, and assess image quality; training and patient education appropriate to age groups are required. ARDMS and BLS are expected certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and safety/infection control knowledge.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to shift rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound tests and positioning patients.
• Developing and evaluating images for technical accuracy.
• Document procedures and verify physician orders.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, physicians, staff.
• Maintain safety, perform equipment checks and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Assist with procedures and manage patient information.
