Job Title: Sonographer

Organizational Unit: ProMedica
The Sonographer independently performs department specific ultrasound procedures. Participates in research and educational activities, incorporating the philosophy and mission of ProMedica in all services provided.
Physical Demands: Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping. Must be able to carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to assist patients on and off examining tables. Must be able to apply ultrasound transducers at angles and pressure appropriate to produce optimal images of patient anatomy.
