Responsibilities:

1. Performs diagnostic and vascular procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structures.
2. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
3. Responsible for maintaining patient records and files.
4. Performs all ultrasound techniques and examinations, including abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, limited obstetric and gynecological scans, and various tests such as carotid imaging, peripheral plethysmography, doppler waveform, segmental pressure, venous imaging, and thoracic outlet studies.

Essential Functions include demonstrating knowledge to provide age-appropriate care, ensuring quality patient care, complying with safety goals, supporting compliance matters, participating in quality assurance programs, maintaining professional development, using PPE, maintaining regulatory compliance, attending educational programs, contributing to departmental efficiency, and demonstrating equipment knowledge and performance standards.

Qualifications include graduating from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Sonography program, obtaining RDMS certification within 12 months of hire, and BLS-CPR certification upon hire.
