Riverside Community Hospital is seeking a Ultrasound Technologist (PRN) to perform ultrasonic imaging in OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology, or peripheral vascular areas. You will obtain diagnostic information and ensure high-quality exams, while assisting Radiologists during biopsies and taking on select non-technical Radiology duties as needed.

The ideal candidate holds ARDMS RVT or RDMS credentials, is BLS certified, and has 1–3 years of experience.

• RV T is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis and fetal anatomy during ultrasound exams.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of pertinent technical and academic areas to produce high-quality examinations.
• Assist Radiologist during biopsies and handle non-technical Radiology duties when available (clerical, transportation, reception).

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Ultrasound Technologist you will performs Ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology or Peripheral Vascular.

• You will obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta, amongst others.
• You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high quality ultrasound examinations.
• You will assist the Radiologist during biopsies, and assume responsibilities for non-technical duties of Radiology when available, such as clerical, transportation, and reception.

Qualifications:

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required
• RVT is preferred
• BLS healthcare provider certification required
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred
