Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging across OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology or vascular studies. ARDMS RVT or RDMS credential required; BLS; 1-3 years’ experience preferred. Join a 542-bed hospital with a strong patient care focus in Riverside, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in OB/GYN, abdomen, neurosonology or peripheral vascular areas.
• Assist Radiologist during biopsies and handle non-technical radiology duties when available.
• Ensure high-quality ultrasound examinations and proper documentation of findings in patient records.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Ultrasound Technologist you will performs Ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, Abdomen, Neurosonology or Peripheral Vascular.

• You will obtain information about internal organs, fluid accumulations, disease diagnosis, study of malfunction of organs, prenatal examination of fetuses and placenta, amongst others.
• You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with knowledge of all pertinent technical and academic areas to produce consistent high quality ultrasound examinations.
• You will assist the Radiologist during biopsies, and assume responsibilities for non-technical duties of Radiology when available, such as clerical, transportation, and reception.

Qualifications:

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential required
• RVT is preferred
• BLS healthcare provider certification required
• 1-3 years’ experience preferred
