Job summary

Ideal candidates are ARDMS-eligible with OB/GYN and vascular experience and have completed an accredited ultrasound program. The role requires current BLS certification and includes duties such as bedside exams, transducer handling, and specimen localization support.

Qualifications

• ARDMS-eligible by date of hire; ARDMS-certified in Abdomen and Vascular within one year.
• OB/GYN experience required by two years of employment.
• Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• Training specific to ultrasound scanners operation and use.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations across General, OB-GYN, and Vascular specialties.
• Analyzes patient body configuration to choose appropriate examination approach.
• Assists with transducer placement and intra-cavity devices such as biopsies.
• Provides portable bedside examinations and documents video findings.
• Performs high-level disinfection on transducers; performs other duties as assigned.
