WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

WORK HOURS: PRN Days

Radiology Breast Center Department highlights:

  1. One of THR’s largest ACR Breast Centers of Excellence
  2. Our team on highly experienced mammographers average 13 years with THD
  3. The THD Breast Center was the first in North Texas to commercially offer 3D tomosynthesis imaging.
  4. Fast-paced, high-volume department
  5. Part of a robust Breast Care Program Accredited by the ACR, NAPBC and COC
  6. Ranked 90th Percentile in Patient Satisfaction for Overall Care since 2017.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

  1. Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  2. BSN preferred.
  3. Other - CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Req
  4. One-year critical care nursing experience, or completion of an RN residency required
  5. Cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred – including open-heart surgery recovery, IABP, Impella, CRRT, and bedside ECMO management.
  6. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required AND
  7. ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required (Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred)
  8. CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days Required

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  1. Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  2. Assesses the patient
  3. Plans the care of the patient
  4. Intervenes as appropriate
  5. Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  6. Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  7. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  8. Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
