St. Johns Hospital, part of the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Springfield, IL, seeks a qualified ultrasound specialist to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms including TTE, TEE, and stress studies. Requires RDCS/RCS or eligibility and BLS, with 40-hour weeks and day shifts.
Graduate or enrollment in an allied health program is required; an associates degree is preferred. Sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Pay Range: $35.92 - $53.88
A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
Qualified to survey and assess the anatomy and pathophysiology of the heart and great vessels by the use of cardiac ultrasound in the adult and/or pediatric patient. Must possess the technical knowledge and creative ability to manipulate and use ultrasound instruments to produce clinically useful diagnostic information. Must possess knowledge and background in ultrasound physics, instrumentation and clinical utility. Must possess knowledge of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and pathology of the cardiovascular system. Performs adult and/or pediatric trans-thoracic echocardiograms, trans-esophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.
