Job summary

Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a Permanent General/Vascular Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services across partner facilities. You will perform General and Vascular exams using portable equipment and digitally transmit images for interpretation, working with minimal supervision.

The role requires ARDMS or CCI registration, a valid driver's license, and travel readiness. You must be able to transport equipment weighing 18-20 lbs, maintain certifications, and pass

Qualifications

• ARDMS or CCI registration required; limited license not accepted.
• General and Vascular modalities required; ECHO is a plus.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Valid driver's license and periodic checks.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption; background check and drug screen.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be comfortable traveling, working independently, and using basic smartphone/computer functions.
• Must be able to transport ultrasound equipment weighing approximately 18-20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile ultrasound services at various healthcare facilities.
• Perform General and Vascular ultrasound exams using portable equipment and transmit images for interpretation.
• Self-dispatch, manage assigned cases, and communicate with dispatch/facility staff.
• Work independently with little to no direct supervision.
• Maintain equipment, vehicle, documentation, and exam paperwork.
• Must respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes.
• Facility staff handles patient transfers, positioning, and assistance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $40+/hr based on experience
• Shift differentials: $2 after 2 PM, $3 after 10 PM, $4 on weekends
• Company vehicle provided
