Anna Jaques Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Sonographer to join imaging professionals serving outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients in Newburyport, MA.

The role involves performing high-quality ultrasound exams across abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, vascular, and breast, with opportunities for training in specialized procedures. RDMS certification and BLS are required or soon to be obtained; 1 year experience preferred but new graduates can be trained.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of experience preferred but will train a new graduate.
• RDMS certified or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification needed.

Aufgaben

• Under the direction of the Ultrasound Supervisor and Radiologist, the Technologist performs a variety of high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams and special diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Exams performed include abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, breast, and other small parts evaluations.
• Special procedures include fine needle aspirations, breast core biopsies, and wire localization (will train as needed).
