A leading healthcare provider in Hillsboro is seeking a part-time Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic procedures and support the ECHO department. The role includes patient interaction, data entry, and quality assurance tasks. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and relevant certifications.
To provide diagnostic services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, including clerical duties as required. To perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concepts and reflects the KPNW Mission and philosophy.
Experience: N/A
Education: A minimum of a two (2) year AMA-approved program with successful completion of one year of Ultrasound training and certification, OR two (2) years of Allied Health education with successful completion and certification of a two (2) year ARDMS program, OR successful completion of an AMA-accredited Ultrasound program with ARDMS registration or CardioVascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification (new grads within one (1) year of hire for registration). High School Diploma or GED required.
License, Certification, Registration: Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 12 months of hire from CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Certificate within 12 months of hire from ARDMS. Sonography Technologist License (Oregon). Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.
Completion of a formal training program.
This position supports the ECHO department at Westside Medical Center (same campus).
