Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a Sonographer to join our team. This full-time position offers a day shift, a competitive pay range, and a sign-on bonus up to $40,000. PTO is available from day one, with options for free health insurance.

You will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensure quality imaging, and support radiology staff. ARDMS cert and an Associate’s degree are required; vascular experience is preferred. Join a mission-driven team moving health forward.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent and ARDMS certification required.
• New graduates must obtain ARDMS registry within 1 year of hire.
• Vascular experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produces accurate and efficient diagnostic ultrasound images per standards.
• Notifies radiologist or provider when immediate attention is needed.
• Verifies indications for tests and communicates with providers as needed.
• Prepares test data and hard copies for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains department policies, safety, and infection control.
• Assists with staff training and orientation.
• Supports records reconciliation and daily QC.

Education

Associate's or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
