Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARDMS certification or equivalent registration required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain initial ARDMS registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Produces accurate and efficient clinical diagnostic images as directed by providers and radiologists according to standards.
• Initiates proper intervention to radiologist or referring provider when test indicates immediate attention.
• Reviews indications for tests ordered and contacts provider for more information when needed.
• Provides test data in complete and accurate format for interpretation and makes hard copy images as directed.
• Maintains department policies, safety, quality, and infection control.
• Assists with staff and student on-the-job training and orientation.
• Assists with analysis, collection and maintenance of records as required by quality standards and regulations.
• Assists medical records reconciliation of orders to exams through daily QC.
