Kaiser Permanente Olympia Medical Center is seeking a per diem Sonographer to provide ultrasound imaging, prepare rooms and equipment, and ensure high-quality testing with safe practices. You will exercise professional judgment, educate patients as needed, and maintain strict confidentiality.

The role supports radiology operations and collaborates with physicians and staff. Shift coverage spans Mon–Sun with hours from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, onsite at Olympia Medical Center.

Qualifikationen

• Customer service and problem solving skills required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate required at hire from ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide ultrasound imaging services to patients according to physicians' orders.
• Prepare ultrasound rooms and diagnostic equipment; develop films.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist radiologists with procedures as needed and document procedures properly.
