Qualifications

  • ARDMS or CCI registry eligibility and pass within one year of hire.
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program.

Salary Range: $40.00 To $46.00 Hourly

We are a fast-paced, growing heart and vascular clinic seeking a Sonographer. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task. As a Sonographer you will Complete all functions necessary in performing quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and vascular studies.

Essential Functions of the Role
  • Able to provide direct patient care to patients in both the stable and acute care settings.
  • Works with general supervision, structuring own work patterns within a general outline.
  • Responsible for reporting interpretations to physicians when completed.
  • Referring unusual situations or problems to physician/supervisor
  • Ability to accurately calculate in apothecary and metric systems for drug administration and document clinical information.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Current ARDMS or CCI or registry eligible and pass registry within one year of the date of hire
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
Desired Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in the Cardiology field
  • One (1) years’ experience preferred as an ultrasound technologist. Cardiology experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

This position is a clinical position and will report to the office Monday- Friday from 6:30 am – 5:00 PM.

Physical Requirements

This position requires a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.
