ADP, Inc. is seeking a full-time Echo Technician in Denver, CO to perform adult echocardiography and related studies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of echocardiography experience, RDCS/RCS certification, and current BLS. Duties include image capture, procedure explanation to patients, equipment maintenance, and accurate record-keeping, with adherence to HIPAA policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Completed Echo Technologist training course.
• RDCS or RCS certification.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, M-mode, and Doppler evaluations.
• Capture and document images for review by cardiologists.
• Explain the echocardiogram procedure to patients prior to the test.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment.
• Calibrate and clean equipment after each use.
• Maintain patient records per HIPAA regulations.
• Document findings and results of echocardiograms.
• Administer IV Definity and agitated saline independently.
• Work with cardiologists to provide patient care and support.

Salary Range: $45.00 To $55.00 Hourly

This position will be responsible for independently performing echo procedures in our clinical settings. The ideal candidate must have experience in performing Adult Echos, the ideal candidate must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions of the Role:

• Perform echocardiograms, M-mode, and Doppler evaluations on patients to evaluate cardiac functioning
• Follow physician protocols to ensure accuracy for each patient
• Capture images using ultrasound imaging technology for review by cardiologists
• Monitor patient conditions during the echocardiogram procedure
• Explain the echocardiogram procedure to patients prior to the test
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
• Calibrate and clean equipment after each use
• Maintain patient records in accordance with Privacy and HIPAA regulations
• Document findings and results of echocardiograms
• Work with cardiologists to provide patient care and support
• Perform cardiac stress tesging
• Administer IV Definity and agitated saline independently

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prefer at least 1 year of experience in echocardiography
• Must have completed an Echo Technologist course of training,
• RDCS or RCS Certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) is required

Clinical office 8-hour Day shift Monday -Friday

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
