Job summary

Rendr in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Sonographer for a Saturday-only schedule (8:30am–5pm). The role requires maintaining ultrasound equipment, performing 15+ daily studies, and capturing images/video for physicians and patients. A bilingual English/Chinese candidate is preferred.

Applicants should have 1 year of abdominal or vascular ultrasound experience, accreditation in abdominal or vascular sonography, and a basic understanding of human anatomy. Bachelor’s in Sonography is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an abdominal ultrasound or vascular technologist is required.
• Sonography accreditation in abdominal or vascular is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Sonography is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment.
• Perform ultrasounds on 15+ patients per day on average.
• Take sonogram still images and video for physician and patients.
• Notify physicians of any abnormalities or concerns immediately.
• Responsible for preliminary reports.

Work Schedule: Saturday only position 8:30am - 5pm

Job Position: Sonographer

Essential Functions:

• Calibrate, maintain, and control all ultrasound equipment.
• Perform ultrasounds on 15+ patients per day, on average.
• Take sonogram still images and video for physician and patients.
• Refrain from commenting on your work to patients unless specifically instructed to do so by a physician.
• Notify physicians of any abnormalities or concerns immediately.
• Responsible for preliminary reports.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience as an abdominal ultrasound or vascular technologist.
• Sonography accreditation in either abdominal or vascular required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Sonography preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of human anatomy and functions.
• Be punctual to medical practices business hours of operation.
