Job summary

Kindbody in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our fast-growing fertility clinic network. This full-time role focuses on high-quality obstetric/gynecologic imaging and collaboration with physicians.

You will perform ultrasound studies, provide findings, and support continuity of care, with emphasis on women's health and fertility services. ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS, and ultrasound proficiency required; prior fertility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARDMS in OB/GYN is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Diploma/certificate in medical sonography.
• 1–2 years' experience in relevant role; women's health focus.
• 2–3 years of undergrad education or equivalent.
• Willing to learn ultrasound guidance for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Record anatomy and pathology using sonography.
• Provide sonogram findings to physician for diagnosis.
• Ensure continuity of care through inter-department collaboration.
• Monitor supply stock to maintain reserves.
• Perform maintenance on ultrasound equipment and report issues.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and company policies.

About the Role

As an experienced Sonographer, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. This role is a full-time position and is based out of our Charlotte clinic.

Responsibilities

Recognize and record appropriate anatomy and pathology using sonographic equipment.

Provide sonogram and oral or written summary of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis.

Act to ensure the continuity of care through effective interactions with other departments.

Monitor supply stock to ensure an adequate reserve.

Perform preventative maintenance on ultrasound and medical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and promptly report deficiencies to management.

Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures associated with safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and company operations.

Who You Are

• ARDMS in OB/GYN required
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification.
• Diploma or certificate of completion from an accredited medical sonography program.
• At least one to two years of experience in a relevant role; experience in women's health is required; experience in fertility is strongly preferred.
• Two to three years of undergraduate education or equivalent.
  Must be willing to learn ultrasound guidance for surgical procedures.
