Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri is seeking a PRN Sonographer to join our Radiology Department, supporting diagnostic imaging during off-hours and serving patients from the local area and beyond.

As a Sonographer, you will interview patients, explain the ultrasound process, perform abdominal, OB-GYN, small parts and vascular studies, and collaborate with physicians to deliver accurate results.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and RVT.
• 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred; new grads considered.
• Certified by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to gather medical history.

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) ishiringaSonographer for our Radiology DepartmentinBolivar,Missouri—someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positivelyimpactevery patient and family we serve.

• Status:PRN
• WorkShift: Varied
• Hours: 4 hours every 2 weeks

What Your Day Looks Like:

You will besupporting our diagnostic services team during off-hours, ensuring timely and accurate imaging for our patients who are not only local, but also those who specifically drive from surrounding areasto see us.

As aSonographer, you will be:

• Interviewingpatients to gather medical history
• Explainingthe ultrasound process
• Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OBGyn, small parts, and vascular studies
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
• Providing patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, privacy, and clear communication
• Following infection control procedures and adheringto all regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Education:Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program -ARDMS certification(Abdomen, OBGYN, andRVT)
• Experience:1 year ofclinical ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered
• Skills:Patient care, attention to detail, teamwork, communication
• Licensure/Certification:Certified bythe American Registry of Medical Sonographers
• Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending
