Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri is hiring a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology Department. This full-time night shift (11pm–7am) role emphasizes patient-centered imaging with state-of-the-art technology and a PACS-based workflow.

You will prepare patients, perform examinations, adjust settings, document results and assist staff while maintaining safety and quality imaging. ARRT certification is required or anticipated; CT experience is a plus.

Formación

• Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an Associate Degree from an accredited institution.
• Skills: Customer service, communication, examination skills, patient safety; CT experience preferred but not required.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification.
• Physical requirements: Frequent walking/standing and bending for prolonged periods.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing patients for examinations, positioning and immobilizing the patient.
• Adjusting control panel settings (voltage, amperage, exposure) as needed.
• Processing data to assure optimal imaging and re-imaging as necessary.
• Assisting medical staff, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering contrast.
• Documenting patient information and updating electronic health records.

What Your Day Looks Like: Citizens Memorial Healthcare's radiology and imaging services offers state-of-the-art technology, equipment and techniques. With leading-edge technology, CMH uses a Web-based Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) for the storage of images. The system allows the images to be distributed throughout the facility within seconds. A magnetic resonance imaging suite offers the newest technology available.

As aRadiology Technologist, you will be:

• Preparingpatients for examinations, positioning and / or immobilizing the patient in accordance with the type of procedure to be administered, and while considering the safety, physical, and psychological needs of the patient
• Performing examination, adjusting control panel settings, such as voltage, amperage, and time of exposure, as necessary
• Processingdata assuring optimal imaginghas been achieved prior to discharge of the patient, re-imaging as necessary
• Assisting medical staff as required, preparing solutions using sterile techniques and administering barium and IV contrast solutions
• Documenting patient information, maintaining detailed records, and updating electronic health systems

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of a Radiology Technologist program with an AssociateDegree from an accredited institution
• Skills: Customer service, communication, examination skills, patient safety, prior experience with CT is preferred, but not required
• Licensure/Certification: Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Physical Requirements:Frequent walking, standing, bending for prolonged periods of time
