We are currently recruiting a Sonographer to join us at the Abington Perinatal in Holmdel, NJ to do both MFM-level anatomy scans and OBGYN. Must have Perinatal experience. This is a part-time position, starting at 1-2 days per week, hours are flexible between 8-4/5:00 pm with ability to pick up more hours at other locations as available.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Perform 4-7 Anatomy Scans per Day to be read by an off-site MFM provider.
Perform NT, Growth, BPP, and GYN ultrasounds.
Evaluate and assess patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established protocols and guidelines.
Obtain appropriate input and direction from the provider, as needed, to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care.
Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health.
Occasionally perform other scans besides anatomies as needed.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years experience performing Obstetrical scanning in an MFM department, a degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program and current RDMS, NT and CPR certifications. Knowledge of appropriate billing and diagnosis codes, Studycast and eClinicalWorks are beneficial.
