Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Test Technician to support Sonobuoy test activities for the Airborne ASW Systems Engineering Division. This in-person role evaluates performance with RF spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and related test equipment at open-ocean test ranges and laboratories.

Requirements include an Associates or BS in electronics engineering technology, 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel up to 15 days per month. A Secret security clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Associates or BS in electronics engineering technology or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Technical experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, antennas.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonobuoy test and evaluation equipment to measure performance.
• Operate RF spectrum analyzers to measure VHF performance.
• Record demonstrated parameters from spectrum analyzers and charts.
• Evaluate test results and provide feedback to Test Director.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
• Deliver strong written and verbal communication; work in a team.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
