Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, proudly franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and guest experiences.

You will partner with the Managing Partner to train staff, manage schedules, control costs, and uphold food safety standards while driving growth and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, uphold Sonic standards and policies.
• Lead the team in training, scheduling and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee cash handling and expense control; partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth and protect Sonic’s brand.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
