Job summary

Sonic Drive-In, franchised by KBP Brands, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations and support the Managing Partner with team training, scheduling, and performance management. You will oversee inventory, food safety, customer issues, and financial controls to protect brand standards.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, guest service, and career growth within a national quick-service group with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy objects, stand/walk for shifts, maneuver in compact spaces, operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by training, scheduling, and performance management of the team.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and promptly resolve customer issues.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control. Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.
