Job summary

KBP Brands is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Sonic Drive-In. You will oversee daily operations, lead staff training, scheduling, and performance management, while ensuring food safety and inventory control.

You’ll help manage cash handling and expenses and partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth and protect the brand. The role offers leadership growth, access to KBP Cares, medical/dental/vision benefits, PTO, shift meal discounts, and paid training as part of KBP Brands’

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading teams and driving customer satisfaction is valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Lead the team in training, scheduling, and performance management for the store.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and promptly resolve customer issues.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic's brand.

What You'll Do As An Assistant General Manager

• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic's brand reputation.

What You Bring To The Table

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail, with profit and loss responsibility (quick service experience preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment.
