Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Tennessee is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, uphold Sonic standards, and coach the team toward exceptional guest experiences.

You will work with the Managing Partner on training, scheduling, performance management, inventory, food safety, and growth initiatives, with a focus on ownership of results. Candidates should have 1 year of AGM experience with P&L responsibility and be 18+ and able to close.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant General Manager in food service or retail with profit and loss responsibility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand and walk for entire shifts, safely maneuver through compact spaces, and operate restaurant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations while upholding Sonic standards and policies.
• Support the Managing Partner by leading the team in training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage inventory, ensure food safety compliance, and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Oversee financial responsibilities, including cash handling and expense control.
• Partner with the Managing Partner to drive growth initiatives and protect Sonic’s brand reputation.

Bonus Program:

As an Assistant General Manager, you’ll also be eligible for a restaurant performance bonus, paid every period.
