Job summary

The Songbook Foundation seeks a Program Manager for the Songbook Academy to oversee year-round operations and outreach for high school vocalists, coordinating timelines, communications, and logistics from recruitment through Week and alumni engagement.

Reporting to the Director of Programs, you will work with the Programs Team to implement educational plans, build relationships with students, families, educators, and partners, and support faculty, mentors, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience managing logistics for multi-participant programs or events.
• Experience developing outreach communications and managing social media content.
• Experience with student recruitment and alumni engagement is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual operational cycle including timelines, records, and cross-department coordination.
• Coordinate applications, screening, registration, and participant communications.
• Lead Songbook Academy Week logistics including housing, transport, catering, and facilities.
• Support recruitment and onboarding for faculty, mentors, screeners, and staff.
• Develop year-round outreach with educators, families, and music organizations.
• Oversee outreach content and collaborate on editorial plans with Communications.
• Strengthen alumni engagement and use feedback to guide planning.
• Support broader Songbook Foundation programs as needed.
• Adhere to processes and meet deadlines.
