Job summary

The Resort at Summerlin is seeking a passionate Sommelier/Server to deliver welcoming hospitality and expert wine and beverage interactions in our dynamic wine bar. You will guide guests through the wine list, suggest pairings, and execute wine service with precision while upholding brand standards.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of hospitality server experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and be 21 or older. Ability to upsell and maintain strong floor service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years hospitality server experience.
• Ability to guide guests through wine list with pairing suggestions.
• Execute proper wine service: opening, pouring, glassware, temperature.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, attentive dining experience.
• Organize beverage stations and restock supplies.
• Take orders accurately and relay to relevant departments.
• Serve food and beverages per service standards.
• Record orders in Micros POS and present checks.
• Know menu/buffet offerings and answer guest questions.
• Verify guest age for alcohol service.
