Field Guide, a new wine destination and American farm-to-table restaurant in Brooklyn, is searching for a passionate Sommelier to join their team. The successful candidate will excel in guest management and have a strong passion for food and wine.
Offering competitive pay and dining benefits, the role requires multiple years of experience in a high-caliber restaurant. Expect a comprehensive education in wines and spirits within a team of talented professionals.
Field Guide in Williamsburg is a new wine destination & American farm-to-table restaurant owned and operated by Chef Tim Meyers.
Located adjacent to the new Domino Park development, under the guidance of our visionary chef‑owner, is committed to creating an unforgettable dining experience where every dish is crafted with precision and artistry. Opened in November2024 and Brooklyn's most recent addition to the Michelin Guide, we’re looking for talented front of house professionals to help execute our vision.
Headed by Wine Director & Managing Partner, Mackenzie Khosla, whose background includes New York City staples such as Marta, Bar Boulud, and Pasquale Jones, the ethos of this program is to have something for everyone in the dining room, at extremely competitive rates meant to encourage guests to recognize Field Guide as a can’t‑miss wine destination. The wine program will be comprehensive and global, with all regions and styles represented. Additionally, a significant amount of consignment wine will be included in the program, which will offer our guests the opportunity to drink old and rare selections.
The bar program, like the wine program, seeks to offer all guests an opportunity to drink something that excites them. Taking cues from classic cocktails, all spirits and styles will be represented, with a vision to offer thoughtful twists on classics in a signature menu that will be rotated in tandem with the food menu. The back bar highlights both classic and local spirits, and we aspire to grow a rare & old whisky and Chartreuse program for our spirit‑minded guests. The non‑alcoholic cocktail program is also of significance– here we will be creating as many selections as being offered on the signature menu, and intend the same seasonal rotation as the food menu & signature cocktails.
