Job summary

Language Services Associates is actively seeking interpreters to support the LEP community across a range of settings in the Columbus area. As independent contractors, interpreters join LSA’s network to facilitate communication for diverse assignments and environments.

Applicants should bring fluency in English and Somali, a commitment to superior client service, and relevant interpreting experience. Availability for on-site assignments and transport access are beneficial for this role.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Somali.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!
