Job summary

3V SIGMA USA INC in Georgetown, South Carolina is seeking a Distillation & Utilities Operator to support solvent recovery and chemical manufacturing operations. This role operates distillation systems, manages plant utilities, and monitors environmental-control equipment.

The ideal candidate has industrial process experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to safely monitor multiple operating systems.

Qualifications

Experience in chemical manufacturing or industrial process environments.
Knowledge of distillation, solvent recovery, and plant utilities.
Ability to read gauges and follow operating procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude and use of basic hand tools.
Commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
Able to work rotating days, evenings, overnights, weekends.
Experience with ERP/maintenance systems is a plus (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle).

Responsibilities

Operate distillation units to recover solvents.
Manage plant utilities and monitor boilers, steam, condensate.
Monitor environmental-control equipment including TOX, ground flare, steam stripper.
Record hourly logs, batch sheets, and production records.
Collect samples for testing and coordinate repairs.
Enter work orders in ERP and assist maintenance.
Perform basic mechanical tasks and follow safety permits.
Identify and report equipment problems and deviations.
