The Impact You'll Make in this Role

The Solve Studio Senior Manager, Business Partnerships ensures Solve Studio remains strategically connected to the business while scaling efficiently across multiple stakeholders, initiatives and priorities. By overseeing portfolio health, account strategy and Account Management excellence, this role enables Account Supervisors to focus on engagement delivery while ensuring Solve Studio remains aligned to the highest-value opportunities across the enterprise.

T he Senior Manager, Business Partnerships serves as a senior business partner to Solventum leaders, shaping how Solve Studio aligns creative investment to enterprise priorities. This role owns portfolio strategy, executive relationships and long-term business planning across assigned business groups while helping build and scale a best-in-class in-house agency model. The Senior Manager, Business Partnerships leads the Account Management discipline, bringing agency-caliber client leadership, commercial thinking and strategic partnership to Solve Studio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business & Portfolio Leadership
  • Serve as the strategic advisor to senior marketing and business leaders across assigned portfolios.
  • Influence annual planning, investment prioritization and marketing roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through strategic, creative and operational solutions.
  • Partner with leadership to evolve how work is scoped, funded and delivered across the enterprise.
  • Represent Solve Studio in executive planning and governance discussions.
Studio Evolution & Growth
  • Help shape the future operating model of Solve Studio as it expands across the enterprise.
  • Bring best practices from leading agencies and in-house creative organizations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client experience, engagement models and service offerings.
  • Partner with Operations and Creative leadership to scale the studio while maintaining quality, effectiveness and strategic alignment.
Client Partnership & Strategic Leadership
  • Serve as senior relationship lead for assigned portfolios, functions and business groups.
  • Build trusted partnerships with senior marketing, communications and business leaders.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business priorities, commercial objectives , customer needs and organizational dynamics.
  • Identify opportunities for Solve Studio to create additional value through proactive engagement, strategic planning or capability expansion.
  • Manage complex stakeholder situations and serve as escalation point for sensitive relationship issues.
Account Strategy
  • Develop multi-year portfolio engagement strategies that align creative investment to business priorities, growth opportunities and customer needs.
  • Translate business and marketing priorities into portfolio roadmaps, demand forecasts and capability recommendations.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to align capacity, priority and investment decisions.
  • Influence portfolio prioritization decisions to maximize business impact and return on creative investment.
  • Monitor emerging business needs and proactively recommend strategic engagement approaches
  • Monitor client satisfaction, demand trends, risks and opportunities across assigned business groups.
  • Lead portfolio prioritization discussions when demand exceeds available capacity or funding.
  • Provide strategic account insights that inform workforce planning, capability investments and operational decisions.
Account Management Leadership
  • Build and lead the Account Management function, establishing the standards, talent, capabilities and ways of working that define Solve Studio's client leadership model.
  • Review and strengthen major briefs, strategic recommendations and engagement approaches for high-visibility initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in client experience across all Account teams and business groups.
  • Ensure account teams consistently deliver a high-quality client experience.
Financial Stewardship
  • Review major estimates and scope changes prior to client commitment.
  • Partner with Operations on retainer planning, budget discussions and resource investments.
  • Identify risks that may affect business plans, demand forecasts or financial performance.
  • Balance client needs with responsible stewardship of Solve Studio resources
Preferred Experience
  • Experience leading large, complex portfolios within a top-tier agency network or scaled in-house agency.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives and drive enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Experience managing multimillion-dollar client portfolios, annual planning cycles and cross-functional business partnerships.
  • Proven success building teams, capabilities or operating models during periods of growth and transformation.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect marketing investment to business outcomes.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and 12 years of experience in agency account management, client services, integrated marketing, communications, or strategic business leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience successfully leading complex portfolios, business groups, or enterprise-level client relationships in an agency or in-house agency environment.

    Strong background in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and business consulting, with the ability to influence organizational priorities and shape long-term engagement strategies.

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and lead through organizational change.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and executive relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with creative, digital, communications, production, and resource management disciplines.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $187,600 - $257,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
