Job summary

UnitX is seeking a Solutions Team Lead to drive design, development, and deployment of defect inspection automation for high-speed manufacturing lines. You will lead a team of solution engineers, collaborate with sales, PM, and engineering to tailor UnitX technology, and oversee hardware-software integration for successful deployments.

The role requires hands-on machine vision and automation expertise, robotics knowledge, and strong communication to coordinate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in automated machine vision systems for manufacturing.
• 3+ years managing solution engineers and building teams in manufacturing or machine vision.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
• Strong technical skills in automation system design and machine vision hardware/software.
• Knowledge of control systems and industrial robots.
• Strong communication skills with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution team to design, deploy, and support vision inspection automation projects.
• Collaborate with sales to build proposals and with service teams to deploy systems.
• Provide technical leadership across motion, vision, and software integrations.
• Ensure robustness and reliability of delivered solutions.
