• 7+ years of experience working on automated machine vision systems in manufacturing.

• Strong technical skills in automation system design and machine vision hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution team to support sales by building proposals for vision inspection systems.
• Oversee deployment by coordinating hardware/software integration and customization during projects.
• Build and grow a high-performing solution team including Solution Architects.
• Provide technical leadership for the development and integration of units across motion, vision, and software.
• Ensure robust, reliable delivered solutions and gather requirements from customers and stakeholders.

Every year, $15B dollar worth of products (think car parts and electronics) go through UnitX AI inspection system to ensure quality and yield.

As a Solutions Team Lead at UnitX, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of defect inspection automation solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients involving robotic conveyance systems at high speed. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and technical experts, to analyze requirements, design solutions, and oversee the implementation of defect inspection projects.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the solution team to:

  • Support the sales team to close deals by building solution proposals for vision inspection automation systems using UnitX technology.

  • Support the service team to deploy systems by working on hardware & software integration & customization needs during the deployment phase.

• Build and grow a high-performing solution team include Solution Architects

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of vision inspection automation systems including motion, vision and software integrations.

• Ensure that the delivered solution is robust and reliable.

• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements.

• Provide regular product feedback to the product engineering team for product improvements.

Who You Are:

• 7+ years of experience working on automated machine vision systems for manufacturing.

• 3+ years of experience managing solution engineers & building solution team for manufacturing or machine vision automation companies.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.

• Strong technical skills on automation system design and machine vision hardware and software.

• Knowledge of common control systems and industrial robots.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with customers, internal stakeholders and solution team members.
